Where Pride Meets Public Service
Pride in Federal Service (PFS) is a nonpartisan organization that supports LGBTQIA+ current and former federal employees, contractors, fellows, interns, retirees, allies, and more, in every corner of the federal workplace.
We pride ourselves on building LGBTQIA+-centered community at all levels so together we can accomplish what we cannot alone.
Our Three Pillars

Community
At our core, PFS is a thriving and diverse community centered on LGTBQIA+ individuals and allies. We create spaces where anyone can show up as their whole self and feel seen, heard, and valued.
Become a PFS member to get support, view our events calendar, and to broaden your circle. There is no cost for membership.
Resources
PFS has gathered and authored a wide range of LGBTIQIA+-centered best practices and resources for those in public service.
One of the most critical resources we author annually for our members is our FEHB Plan resource guide for LGBTQIA+ federal employees or their families who need help navigating family planning services or gender affirming care.

Connection
PFS is known as the anchor of federal LGBTQIA+ groups, affinity groups, and NGOs that focus on LGBTQIA+ individuals in public service. If you are not already connected with us, please reach out via our contact page.
We also help connect our members to other LGBTQIA+ individuals or groups at or affiliated with their agencies.
These efforts and more have helped foster a more inclusive, supportive, and equitable environment for some of the most vulnerable in the federal workplace.
